Deployteq Crunches the Numbers on Black Friday and Cyber Monday

As we step back from Cyber Week’s whirlwind and gear up for the January sales, it’s the perfect time to look at how Deployteq fared during these key shopping days. They’re pretty important milestones for the retail world and for us, too.

These events kick off the holiday shopping season, which often sets the tone for the year’s performance. This year was particularly significant for us at Deployteq, as we didn’t just hit our targets, we exceeded them by sending more messages than ever before through our platform.

And it’s not just a win for us, this success reflects on our fantastic customers too. They’ve been upping their marketing game, reaching out to their audiences in ways that are more relevant, timely, and engaging, making these shopping dates truly significant for everyone involved.

Record-Breaking Numbers

This year, Black Friday was pretty spectacular, with Deployteq customers sending over 27.5 million messages (27,563,465) via email, SMS, and push notifications, an 11% increase from last year and the highest in our history.

Cyber Monday was hot on its heels, boasting over 23.6 million messages (23,692,181), marking a 10% increase from 2023.

These figures represent much more than mere numbers; they reflect the increasing importance of marketing automation solutions as the go-to tool to engage with busy, distracted customers during these pivotal shopping days.

The Surge of Cyber Week

Cyber Week, the extended shopping period from Monday to the following Monday, was a tour de force for Deployteq, with a staggering 128.6 million messages (128,603,049) sent via our platform.

This record-setting week underscores a shift in consumer behaviour. Both businesses and consumers are increasingly taking advantage of extended sales periods, sending and engaging with promotions over an entire week rather than confining their shopping to a single day.

A Year of Milestones

2024 stands out not only for its message volumes but also for our communication milestones, with Black Friday and Cyber Monday activity propelling Deployteq towards a monumental year. With over 3.6 billion messages (3,690,428,821) already under our belt in 2024, we are on the brink of reaching 4 billion messages by year-end.

And for the first time, Deployteq consistently sent over 300 million messages each month, contributing to five of the top ten best months ever recorded in our history.

This volume of engagement means that businesses are not just sending out more messages, they are sending smarter, more targeted communications that resonate with consumers’ specific needs and preferences, especially during these high-stakes sales periods.
