Hyper-personalised birthday campaign 

Online butcher shop BBQuality offers high-quality meat for BBQ or daily cooking. In March 2020, BBQuality noticed that more people were spending money on luxury meat for home cooking due to the lockdown. After the pandemic, the market had changed, and the consumer behavior fluctuated, leading to an unstable revenue stream. Happy Horizon armed with Deployteq created a campaign to boost a more reliable, steady revenue stream.

Solution

  • The team created a hyper-personalised birthday campaign with limited time offer to create urgency, ensuring quick conversions. 
  • The campaign included a high degree of personalisation and links with various data sources, such as weather forecasts, shipping times, delivery times based on the moment of opening the email, pick-up points near the recipient, and personalised discount codes.

Results 

The campaign generated a monthly revenue of approximately €36,000 in the first four months of the year, which is a +9% increase compared to the previous period. The campaign surpassed the team’s goal of an extra +7.5% in revenue.
